We’re having a Club Clean-Up Day.
We NEED volunteers to make our club shiny, fresh and clean!
And it's a great opportunity to earn hours for membership or fulfill your annual volunteer hours requirement
Saturday, May 2nd, 2026
10 a.m - 2:30 p.m.
There is so much to do that we are going to focus on the lower level on May 2nd and schedule another day to tackle the upper level later in the year.
What we will be providing:
Pizza, Snacks & Assorted Beverages
Face masks and gloves
We will supply all storage materials, bags for trash and cleaning supplies
What we will be doing:
Cleaning out and organizing the storage closets, kitchen and cubbies
Crates cleaning / pan removal
Organizing our demo equipment
Identifying equipment that is either no longer needed or broken, requiring tossing, repair or replacing
Organizing, labeling & restocking storage bins
Moving Nose Work supplies from the Electrical Closet to another Closet
Cleaning mirrors
Possibly power washing agility & other equipment as needed
Deep cleaning to the extent that we are able
What we need:
Volunteers: ~ 15 would be ideal
We would like a few volunteers who are club knowledgeable and tenured, so that important and needed materials are not inadvertently tossed.
A few tasks will require heavy lifting, so a few strong and/or athletic volunteers are needed.
Interested in volunteering?
Please contact Angela Wormser and let her know that you are ready to volunteer.
PCOTC Agility Pre-Trial Run-Thru
- Friday, May 1, 2026 -
Our Agility Pre-Trial Run-Thru will feature a nested Standard Course, with both a Masters and a Novice option, providing a full trial experience without the judging.
EVENT DETAILS
Course walking at 6:00 p.m. First dog on line at 6:15 p.m.
Standard Course
There will be either two nested courses to choose from, Masters and Novice
Course designed by Katrina Walters
Remember your time on the floor is yours. Train specific skills, run the courses, or create your own path; it is up to you.
Run order: Small to Tall
3 minutes per run, toys and treats allowed
Maximum 2 runs per dog
If all runs are not sold, the opportunity to purchase two additional runs will be made available the day of the run-thru
Event Limited to 50 runs
Last day for entries: 4/24/2026 by NOON
PRICING PER DOG: 1 run = $10, 2 runs = $15
EVENT CONSIDERATIONS:
For those new to the sport of Agility, participation in the Run-thru is predicated on completing PCOTC's Agility Foundation Essentials and all Four of the Foundation Concentration classes or the equivalent.
Dogs must run either naked or with a flat buckle collar with nothing hanging or swinging from it.
All dogs, when not on the floor, must be crated. Please use the club's crates, your own travel crate or crate in your car, if your dog will be more comfortable.
PCOTC"s crating and waiting area is small and we request that handlers be sensitive to the environment and to the dogs waiting their turns.
Also, please note that choke or e-collars are not permitted. Bitches in heat must wear panties while in the facility.
