PCOTC COVID-19 Safety Procedures - Updated February 2022

The PCOTC Board of Directors is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary training environment for everyone who comes to PCOTC in order to feel comfortable. We take this responsibility very seriously and are instituting the following guidelines for everyone’s benefit & protection. Any student not following these guidelines will be removed immediately and will forfeit their entire class fee. We ask anyone who sees someone not following these guidelines to notify their instructor and the PCOTC President at president@pcotc.org ASAP. Photos of the incident would be helpful.

Please be respectful of others and your impact on their health.

MASKS & HAND SANITIZER

  • Masks are voluntary for fully vaccinated students. Masks are required for those who are not fully vaccinated.

  • All students & instructors know your own health risks. Please continue to wear a mask in the club if you feel your situation warrants it.

  • Hand sanitizers have been installed at crucial entrances. All who enter the building are required to use hand sanitizer as they enter.

STUDENT ILLNESSES

  • DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE ANY ILLNESS even if you are not running a fever. If there is a possibility that you have been exposed to COVID-19 or if you are exhibiting any potential COVID-19 symptoms, please email your instructor and PCOTC President at president@pcotc.org so that you can be issued a class credit for missed classes, all affected individuals can be notified, and any extra sanitizing deemed necessary can be scheduled. If you are recovering from Covid-19, please do not return to the Club until ALL your symptoms have resolved,

CLUB CLEANING

  • Students are encouraged to bring all their own supplies, within reason. This minimizes contamination. Each student should bring their own drinking water and bowl for their dog plus any supplies requested by their Instructor.

  • Weekly sanitizing by highly trained professionals with hospital grade solutions began while the facilities were closed and will continue once classes resume.

  • No exchange of items at the building or leaving things for others to pick up.
