In 2002 Port Chester Obedience Training Club celebrates 62 years as one of the leading
Dog Training Clubs in the Tri-State area. Over six decades, our expertise in
developing well-behaved family dogs and Trial Champions has grown along with the variety
of activities we offer.
At PCOTC you can find all levels of Obedience training, from Puppy classes to Utility.
With approximately 50 classes offered each week, there are times and levels to fit
almost everyone. Agility instruction is also available, from beginning to advanced,
taught by people who have spent years working with their dogs and competing in the sport.
At PCOTC we have a large choice of other activities: an annual AKC Sanctioned Obedience
Trial and Match, an AKC Agility Trial, as well as a Tracking Trial. We bring in experts to give seminars
on a variety of subjects, from training problems to canine health to behavior issues.
And during the winter, handlers can practice for the ring at weekly informal Mini-Matches. One group takes dogs to Nursing Homes,
another practices games such as Flyball; some do demonstrations at dog related events in
the area. And our dogs love our parties!
You needn't be a member to begin training your dog, whether your goal is simply good
manners or a Competition ribbon. We're easy to get to; just off I-287 in White
Plains, New York. All Breeds Welcome - even if they're mixed in one dog!

PCOTC will help your dog become a well-behaved family
member.
We teach you to teach your dog. This begins a lifelong bond.
You'll learn to understand your dog's signals and body language.
We use rewards and praise. Class is fun for both dog and owner.
Our instructors are experienced with all kinds of
dogs
puppies, adults, seniors, purebreds and mixed breeds.
We offer Day, Evening and Weekend Classes.
