Kate Connick ~ PCOTC Agility Instructor Kate Connick
Training dogs professionally since
1991, Kate's formal education actually involves human behavior. Her business
allows her the best of both worlds in being able to coach not only dogs but
their human partners.
Not competition-minded, Kate's varied interests allow her to celebrate the dog-human bond in other ways. A TDI evaluator, she volunteers her time regularly to visit psychiatric patients with her own certified therapy dogs. Her dogs also dabble in obedience, agility, carting, canine water sports, and advertising work. . . but first and foremost, they are beloved pets. She currently shares her home with a Scottish terrier, a Cesky terrier, a boxer, and a gloriously quirky-looking mutt. Kate's philosophy is simple: Use consistency, positive reinforcement, and a sense of humor to shape one's dog into the most enjoyable companion he can be.
