OTHER CLASSES OFFERED PCOTC
SOCIAL SKILLS FOR DOGS
A special group class is offered for dogs
who exhibit aggressive behavior. The class focuses on positive rather than
punitive
 methods to help dogs overcome their behavioral problems. It is
based on the protocols in Brenda Aloff's book, "Aggression in Dogs: Practical
Management, Prevention & Behavior Modification." Admission to the class
requires approval from the instructor.
BREED HANDLING
Breed handling class prepares dogs and
their handlers to show in the conformation ring. A well-trained dog - and
handler - have a much better chance of success in the ring, as well as more
fun!
FLYBALL
Periodically, PCOTC offers flyball classes
when we have enough dogs. If you're interested in this fun and
fast-paced sport, let the class registrar know so you can be contacted when
flyball is offered.
